The Herb Whisperer's Origin Story
We HAVE had herbs in our life ever since we can remember - as children we drank herbal teas and loved looking through mum's cupboard and smelling herbs in all the different jars.
Suzann, our co-founder, was an adult, when during a house clean-up she discovered her great grandmother's diary, which documented her journey as she studied herbs in the late 19th century. The great grand mother was known as a "Szeptucha", which is the Polish word for 'whisperer', and people sought her out for her healing abilities. We decided to honour Suzann's great grandmother by founding HerbWhisperer™ to help people to connect with nature and tap into its healing power.

Rebecca Murray
Rebecca's love for plants and her background as a mental health nurse converged and she is now studying to become a medical herbalist. Her garden, a testament to her botanical passion, became the foundation for her holistic healing journey. With care for people at its core, her work harmoniously blends the therapeutic power of plants with her understanding of mental and emotional wellbeing, offering a unique and compassionate approach to herbal medicine.

Suzann's lifelong passion for herbs, nurtured by childhood memories and inspired by her great grandmother's "Szeptucha " legacy, led her to embark on a journey of herbal study. With care for people and a deep connection to nature, she dove into traditional healing practices, mirroring her ancestor's path from over a century ago. Today, she's dedicated to founding Herb Whisperer, honouring her great grandmother's legacy and helping people harness nature's healing power.
